The ghost of an image, it's just fleeting glimpses, you're there then you're gone.





What I'm Wearing; Cape Blouse - Topshop . . . Skirt - thrifted . . . Cardigan - H&M . . . Rose Quartz Necklace - Diva at Miss Selfidge . . . Boots - New Look.

I did another photo shoot in the woods at the weekend. My photography cwk deadline is next Friday and oh boy have I got a lot of editing to do...

Uhh, I don't really like the first photo (sorry, I have no clue why I look so angry) but it's the only one with my cardigan off and I wanted to show you the cape sleeves of my new blouse. I've wanted it since November but they've only just released the petite version.
Ooh what with that beautiful rose blush colour, delicate sheer fabric and adorable peter pan collar - it literally screamed "buy me!"
(Literally? ... no, not literally, clothes don't talk to me, that's just, erm, insane... yeah, 'cuz talking to yourself is completely normal...)

Anywhoo, if you're wondering about how I achieved the 'smokey effect' on the above photos, then come a little closer my friends and I shall disclose the secret (of the universe?! ...umm, no.)
If you really wanna know, you'll have to come a little closer...

Brace yourself, 'cuz this will blow your mind (or not, who knows) ...Ready?


Baby Powder.


DUN-DUN-DUNNNN! ... ok that was pretty anti-climactic.
But yes, baby powder, that's the answer (to the universe?! ... What? NO. What's wrong with you?? ... Wooow, don't want to go down that route...)

    these are AMAZING photos! i loove that topshop blouse/cape i've also wanted it since ages ago but i'm saving up for a camera at the moment. Aha i was just going to ask how you did that smokey affect :) you looking stunning in these photos and omg i've always wanted one of those necklaces, might make one myself :)

    Wow that looks awesome! I never would have guessed you'd used baby powder to get that effect, I thought you had a small firework of something. Ha. And the blouse looks very pretty on; the blush colour looks lovely against your skin and hair colour :)
